Treatment is focused on personal issues of crisis, pain or discomfort that the client is not able to share in a group setting or may be inappropriate in a certain treatment modality (i.e. education)
Group treatment allows exposure and support to other individuals struggling with substance use disorders. While, also focusing on issues of abstinence, denial, adjustment and relapse concerns. A willingness to disclose, listen and accept feedback will enhance the group process.
12 hours of Maryland MVA informational material performed in an eight session series. This course is for first time patients and allows the opportunity to understand the process of addiction and the effects of substance abuse.
IOP (Intensive Outpatient Treatment) is a type of outpatient treatment that provides structured and intensive therapy for individuals struggling with active substance use disorders. IOP sessions meet three times a week for three hour sessions. ADAC offers both morning and evenings sessions.
